GPS is a wonderful service that allows the location of a wireless device to be picked up via satellite. The acronym GPS is short for Global Positioning System which is basically what it is. It is a system’s position within the globe. Most newer cellular devices now come equipped with GPS for safety reasons so that calls to 911 can be traced and help can be sent even if the victim can no longer speak.
